The Leica GS18 I combines survey-grade GNSS RTK positioning, tilt compensation and camera-based Visual Positioning. In addition to conventional and tilted-pole GNSS measurement, the integrated camera allows points to be measured from captured site imagery in the field or later in the office.

Field Workflow

Visual Positioning extends GNSS measurement beyond the physical pole tip: the operator can capture an area in images and subsequently select measurable points from that imagery, while retaining the GS18 T-style tilted-pole workflow for conventional RTK observations.
